The first 100 Igbos Mobile Clinic is almost ready!

The unit which is housed in a 37 foot Chevrolet trailer, with an Isuzu engine, is durable and will no doubt be very suitable for use in Nigeria.

This first clinic will house a diagnostic lab, an operating room, and a doctors’ prep area, and will be fully air-conditioned. It will also have dual voltage capability. As of May 20, 2010 all skeletal work on the vehicle such as installation of a water tanker, air conditioner, generator, & the preparation of the interior to receive medical equipment has been completed.

The inside of the vehicle has been insulated and painted.  Operating Room Lights have been installed as well as an anaesthesia machine.  100 Igbos has acquired most of the equipment needed for the completion of this project.

Please contact us for a list of needed supplies and equipment.  Thank you.  Plans are already underway for the construction of a second vehicle.  We are accepting donations for this and other projects.

All donations are tax deductable to the full extent allowed by law.
